cito:did u soffer of brain fog too or only sexual sideeffects?
I had non-sexual side effects too. Cognitive abilities were affected like concentration, mood etc…
By the way I think Quercetin works because of encreasing sexual organs. My penis and balls are bigger.
If someone wants to try this treatment he should use quercetin 1500mg/silymarin1000mg/nettle root 450mg daily. Duration 3 months minimum. Side effects could become worse the first weeks. Benefit should appear after 7th or 8th week
so u had sexual and other problems too … ok thanks
yes, the most worste side effect were dry and red eyes. I use contactlenses and with dry red eyes I wasnt aible to waer them anymore… But now my eyes are white as ever before
cytochrome, i have eye dryness and redness too. I gave up to wear contact lenses as you did, but dryness and redness are not gone . What did you do to get rid of those?
i’ll just try quercetin and silymarin… i dn’t think nettle i s good…it blocks dht…i already did it whit propecia.
cyto:u say problems could be worse the first period because it was like this with u?
cyco, instead of silymarin can i use bromeline?
Hello to all!
News from my treatment. Two words: I recovered!!! Completly.
I took Quercetin for six weeks. Than I stopped Quercetine and took 5mg Vardanafil daily at bedtime. I did this to support night erection and to boost blood circulation in penis. I stopped Vardanafil and I have rock hard erections again without any medicine. Spontaneous erections, night erections everything is fine. The bad thing: Hairloss encreased dramatically. I have to cut this mess down…
Cytochrome
Can you please tell us the exact brand of quercetin you’ve been using as well as any other supplements?
Also, are you still taking supplements? Do you think the supplements is the only reason you have recovered? When did you quit Vardenfil?
On the subject of Quercetin, I’ve found an article that describes it as a “phytoestrogen”, and I have a quick question about it. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad.
And also there’s this post about a study that says it increases estrogen.
Any thoughts or help on this?
It could be that the quercitin binds to the estrogen sites in the body thus reducing the effects of the estrogens. There are many substances that can actually bind to a receptor but not illicit the same response as the intended binding substance does. For example, you can take certain B12 supplements that are actually B12 analogs. They bind to the B12 receptors in the body, but do not do the same thing that the actual, natural B12 vitamin is supposed to do. For people addicted to opiates, they can take certain medications, like suboxone, the actually binds to the opiate receptor but does not give the body the same reaction that the opiod drug would. Maybe the quercitin, because it is a photoestrogyn, can bind to the estrogen receptors in the body taking the spots that normal endogenous estrogens would. This would reduce the effect of the estrogens in the body and also would raise the estrogen in the blood. Maybe the body senses the increased estrogen and does something to shut it down or lower it permantly. Kind of the way that when we start taking fin and testosteron conversion to DHT is stopped thus upping the Test in the system and having they body drop its out put. Just my two cents.
After re-reading what you posted about the quercitin, I’m more inclined to believe my theory. Just read the clip you included in your post. It says that because breast cancer needs estrogens to grow, taking the quercitin actaully starves the cancer of estrogens!! THis is due to the photoestrogen being able to bind to the recptor but NOT illicit the same response as the natural estrogen, thus blocking its response.
Hm, interesting, thanks for your post cdnuts. That water diet is keeping you sharp I guess. I haven’t had a great experience using Quercetin so far, but maybe I will keep using it. I just don’t understand how this all works, how cytochrome has recovered using it, etc. It feels like a huge crapshoot.
Also, in case anyone’s wondering, I’ve been using 600mg of a Vitamin World Quercetin 2 times a day.
I dont know how exactly this quercetine works and how it helps.
I only know that it has encreased the size of my sexual organs (penis, prostate etc.)
5mg Vardafinil is a very low dose. I divided a 20mg tablet into four pieces.
I stopped Vardafinil one week ago and erections are still perfect. I feel really great. Mood, eyes, sexual things everything is fine.
I guess that time and patience is very important. There is no medicine that can cure this mess. You need to help your body to recover by itself.
And pd5 inhibitors are good to heal ed!!!
Wish luck everyone!!!
Yes, believe it or not, this is day five with just water and my mind seems to be running like a computer!
I had this thought after posting. Keeping with the same theory, if you feel crappy when you start to take the quercitin, it could be due to the initial increase in estrogens. Just like when we start taking fin, we notice an increase in test. For men, the increase in test is welcomed and we feel good. But when you increaes your estrogens initially, you will feel like, well, less of a man until your body adjusts itself. You said you had noticed that your unit looked like it did when you were on fin. This can also be attributed to the increase in estrogens. If you stay on it, let the forum know how it goes.
Cytochrome,
Did you initially feel bad when starting the quercitin?
Can you please give us the brand that you used?
Thanks.
After doing some research on Quercitin, I am even more inclined to believe that the raw food diet will work. Quercitin is derived from fruit and veggies!! That’s all I’m going to be eating for six months or so. I should get more then my fill of this flavanoid. What could be better than getting it right from the source.
citochrome, I’m sorry to be redundant if you have answered this question specifically already, although I could not find this one particularly after a brief look…
Regarding your prostate, pre and post recovery…
Q: Did you have the typical prostate problems during your two years of suffering, i.e. the inflamed prostate symptoms, as well as the increased urination, prostate pain, and uncomfortableness,
and for how long were these actual physically uncomfortable prostate symptoms present for you?
I really am interested in hearing some details about this, because here it is almost 20 months since stopping for me and I am still having some prostate symptoms.
Albeit they are a lot better, and still getting better as time passes,
But I sometimes fear now that after all this time I just may be one of those guys now that has prostate problems for the rest of his life!!
Also, do you have regular sex? Because I think this can help people’s prostates recover better.
Thank you very much, and for continuing to help all of us with your caring and thoughtful, detailed responses to our questions.
Peace and much Thanks,
~B
I find that this study basically backs up what many of us have been thinking. Basically it has demonstrated that supplementation with quercetin has been shown to dramatically increase the size and weight of male reproductive organs, just as cytochrome has reported.
