Should I have quit Finasteride?

I fall into the camp of folks who only really got bad after quitting Finasteride. I had mild sides while on the drug, but since quitting its been 3 years of zero sexuality and muscle atrophy.

Would you recommend to someone on the drug that they should quit? Ir do you think for some people, the safer option is to stay on the medication until we better understand PFS.

I juggle with whether or not it was a mistake. If I had 80% funtion on the drug than it was better than what could be 0% for the rest of my life.

You should never have started, but I guess we all have that in common.
I’d say dont just quit, you need to build if off, like take less and less every day.
Almost everyone on this forum quit cold turkey, I think stopping slowly would be better. But that’s just my opinion.

Everyone quit cold turkey because nobody tapers off.

The dose independent result means that tapering isn’t really an option.

One day this stuff might be banned and everyone will go cold-turkey in spectacular fashion. It will be horrific. But that is a creation of the manufacturer.

Perhaps that day is sooner than you think.
