Sexual Exhaustion

After being off Propecia for about 7 months, my sides effects have extremely intensified and I’ve started experiencing a whole host of destructive new side effects as well. I’ll write up my personal story soon, but in the meantime, a question.

One my new side effects is sexual exhaustion. The testicle pain is back, any type of spontaneous erections are gone, and libido is shot. However now when I orgasm (from masturbation which takes much effort -I can’t even peform with girls), I get watery semen, sometimes pain (about 50 % of the time) and something new:

UTTER EXHAUSTION from my sexual center, testicles, penis, etc.

I used to be able to ejaculate 3 times a day or more, now after one I’m completely shot and my organs can’t seem to take any more. The feeling of exhaustion comes immediately, theres not even any pleasure involved. Does anybody else experience this?

This is why our condition seems to be closely related to Adrenal Fatigue.

I was doing some quick research on Adrenal Fatigue and I came across this little tidbit:

Taking back your life
If you take your treatment plan seriously, you can expect your adrenal fatigue to heal in:

6 to 9 months for minor adrenal fatigue
12 to 18 months for moderate fatigue
Up to 24 months for severe adrenal fatigue

Ugh. If thats true I can only imagine how long I have to suffer like this, if not forever. Anybody else have anything to add to this topic?

yes, i’ve tried this kind of sensation…
my sides are going bad every month more…

Yes, I’ve been off Propecia for 7 months now also. My libido is at a minimum, and my symptos are identical, except I have no pain anywhere. I used to be able to masturbate 3 or more times a day, but now even once is a struggle, and its not pleasurable. Just like you.

I’ve been waiting for my body to recover, but I’m dreading that its been 7 months and no recovery. I’m seeing a urologist again this Friday, but I feel like they are just going to tell me that its “in my head” since I have no other symptoms (like pain, abnormal urinating) other than sexual dysfunction.

Keep me updated on your progress. What’s your story?

Hey Worried,

Sorry to hear your experience is similar to mine. I posted my story in the Member Stories section a few days ago if you want to check it out.

I just saw a Urologist on Friday and thats exactly what he said, it’s all in my head. He refused to test anything besides Testosterone which came back mid-range. I am going back to my family doctor to see if I can get more complete blood tests.

Yeah, I got a comprehensive blood panel done about a month after I started having sides. Hoenstly, the blood test is pointless unless you know what your hormone levels were before you started taking propecia. All my hormones came out to be in the “normal range”, although my testosternoe was at the lowest end of the normal range. I mean, who knows what my testosterone levels were before I started taking propecia. Hormones are also incredibly complicated and it is the relationship and ratios between the hormones that probably matters most.

So, after testing “normal” for hormone levels, and having no pain or urination problems, its difficult for doctors to believe I have some sort of sexual dysfunction, although I know it is very real. I’m just hoping that I will heal over time…please keep me updated on your progress.

Hey Worried,

Oops I didn’t mean to call you Way when responding to your post, sorry about that.

Anyway, I am very worried too. I just read your story and it sounds very similar to mine, except for the fact that you took the drug longer than me. This is getting scarier than ever. Sorry to hear you’ve gone six months putting up with this crap. I’ve been suffering from ED now for over 2 months. It’s ridiculous.

I know what you mean about blood tests, although I think it’s also possible that some hormones will be out of range. I want to rule out Hypothyrodism. I’ve seen other guys have high Estrogen, low TSH, etc. I want to get full blood tests to double check everything.

Keep me updated on your status as well… good luck man.

I’m going to try out Viagra for the first time this weekend with my girlfriend.

Hey Thissucks… Have you also had your progesteron test done??

Elevated progesteron supress LH, FSH and is a potent natural 5AR inhibitor.

You should better test it because there is a propability that your liver may have problems in transforming progesteron to its metabolites. Testosteron might also convert to estradiol in the higher quantities—> that’s when it is high in the blood test. It may happen when your liver is inflammed/damaged (I told you to test your liver in the other topic). When liver cells are damaged there might be a problem in caltalizing hormons like testosteron, progesteron. When it happens so progesteron may be accumulated and can supress LH, FSH plus can supress 5AR/Oxytycine output in your drain/prostate.

If you take care of your liver cells with Essentiale Forte or the other liver cell repair drug, you propably will convert more hormons to its metabolites. To be successfull with that you need to repair your liver cells first, which could be damaged. Fin/Dut is metabolized via liver, you should all remember that.

I am doing a progress with a liver enhancement drugs. I will report it soon.

Hey Majkellos,

Like I said in the other thread, I have only been tested for testosterone/prolactin but I am seeking further blood tests so I can check my progestrone/E2/LH etc levels.

I have to wonder how bad finasteride could have impacted my liver in just 4 months.

You say your making progress with Liver Enhancement? Let us know how it is going. I am planning on trying BigSoftie’s treatment plan of Dermacine Sustain/Diesel Test, I just want to get full blood tests first before I change anything.
