sequencing my 5aRII sequence

I thought about getting my 5aRII sequence checked and contacted the lab already.
they want me to send isolated DNA; question is from which source should I get this? take some blood or genital skin?
@Mew - what do you think?

I won’t do this immediately but it is in my plans after I have the urine panel done and the 3AdiolG test.

What is the best source for DNA in our case?

Why don’t you call the lab that’s doing the test and ask them?

5ARII is an intracellular enzyme.

While it would be great if it were possible to measure in blood, I’m not sure if this is the case.

Genital skin fibroblast cultures for 5AR2 activity and androgen receptor binding have been mentioned in the literature.
