It was a full day of seminars. It would be nice to know some of the opinions that were discussed.

I agree this has not been handled very well. To be fair however, it was not admin who leaked the time and date of the seminar on here. Perhaps it should have just been deleted straight away to avoid getting people’s hopes up that something big was taking place.
I think some people’s expectations of this were too high anyway. It was never going to be some conclusive defining moment in diagnosing this and treating it. Personally I think this is a very long term effort and, although I support every study and research initiative, I don’t expect this to be solved (for me anyway) for 5-10 years minimum. Sorry if this pessimism depresses anyone, I’m not an expert and could be way wrong.
Instead of looking to certain members to push research and doing nothing but looking on or sniping about theories on here, we should all be taking it upon ourselves to try and maximise more awareness. Badluck proved this can be done easily and successfully, and with all the media exposure we’ve received in the last year, coupled with the breaking lawsuits and studies, no one can brush us off as cranks or uncredible internet conspiracists.
There will be an update posted this week addressing some of the questions, if not by Awor, then by me.

I think Luckfax hit the nail on the head in his post above. Our expectations are very high. We really need to sit back and see how far we’ve come with this issue. Sometimes its so hard to see where this is going because it all moves so slow, but if you really size up what’s happened over the last couple of years a lot has happened.
More and more medical professionals are getting behind this. Respected Law Firms are joining the fight. Media coverage continues to happen. There’s a lot to be hopeful about. We just need to be realistic, patient and really try to live our lives to the best of our ability in the meantime.

I participated in this study 5 years ago. Did anyone else? I never got back word from them after I sent my sample and info. I would like to get my DNA test results back and was wondering if anyone else did. I can’t find any contact information besides an email address. I tried googling all the names of potential places related to the study that I could find but google maps can’t find them.
