I wonder if a similar mechanism wre involved when PFS sufferers notice improvements in symptoms when they are ill.
Good find. Let’s hope for all our sake our condition isn’t similar to autism. Millions and millions have been spent on autism research with no mechanism of action being found. It systemic and scientist can’t point to single thing. I fear our condition is similar

I hope so too. One distinct difference is that PFS differs have shown to have been impacted by significant biochemical changes. This is not the case with those with autism. We can at least ‘see’ an issue chemically, perhaps not a root cause but a downstream effect regardless.
