Saw Palmetto & 0.5 Fin

Hi guys,

I have been suffering with Chronic Prostititis for past 5 years so I decided to go on SP. I was taking 320mg of SP for two weeks and my CP symptoms reducing significantly. So I decided to take 0.5mg of Fin along with it for the next week. (2 weeks of SP and 1 week of SP & Fin) Total three weeks.

I dropped both cold turkey after I started feelingreally tired, lost of libido and confusion and anxiety (Brainfog).

Did anyone have these experiences with SP and are they permanent? I’ve been off for over a week and still got no libido and feel spaced out. Or could the 4 pills of Fin have caused this?

I also got that rush of DHT everyone talks about on the forth night.

Now my prostititis is back to where it was but I have this pain in my left testicle which shoots down my leg. Will my sides go away? I’m mostly concerned about my brain, I feel I might have caused soem serious damage. I can not even concentrate on my studies. It feels like a hangover but a lesser headache.

Any help would be greatly appreciated… Is there anythign I can take to restore my brain function?

SIDE NOTE: I did grow new hairs on my hairline but I have a ful set of hair so growing hair was not my goal.

just wait, maybe after few months you will get some relief but some side effects are permanent.

So I just came back from urologist for my follow-up appointment and he checked out my prostate and made me pee into a machine and all the good stuff.

He basically said it looks like I have over come the prostititis and told me to continue eating healthy and taking SP. I told him about the side effect and he said no it should be fine and told me to just take 50mg a day.

Just thought I’d share, but I probably will not be going back on the SP.

I took dutasteride when I was 22 for one month for an inflamed prostate.

No symptoms during, while or after taking it.

Took saw palmetto when I was 26 years old for one week. Bang PFS started. Life has not been the same sense.

Personally I don’t believe saw palmetto alone can cause pfs. But combined with history of prescription strength DHT inhibiter it can cause PFS

Many people don’t know or dont want to believe but in my research ( I have been suffering for the last five years from SP) saw palmetto is way more potent than Fin. If you eat both you will think sides from Fin were a picnic. I have recieved many emails from SP users( since Mew has banned them from posting here on this forum). Their sides are way worse than those from Fin.

What do they have that we don’t? I’m not saying that just for the sake of contradicting you, but it’s hard to believe it can get worse. How are they way worse than us? It’s hard to believe when you’re bordering suicide every day. Sorry, man, I don’t want to sound like an asshole (maybe it’s the booze that’s speaking, it’s Saturday night and I drank a bit…). Just to understand what you’re saying, they are worse sexually, psychologically?

What do they have that we don’t? I’m not saying that just for the sake of contradicting you, but it’s hard to believe it can get worse. How are they way worse than us? It’s hard to believe when you’re bordering suicide every day. Sorry, man, I don’t want to sound like an asshole (maybe it’s the booze that’s speaking, it’s Saturday night and I drank a bit…). Just to understand what you’re saying, they are worse sexually, psychologically?

When I say worse this is what I mean
Most of Fin sufferes complain sexua sides only whereas SP users have
1-extreme fatigue,
2-bone pain in wrists, knees, feet and hands. This pain is like you have beaten up by stick.if you know what I mea. Hit your hand with a stick and you have feeling of butterfly in your hands ( I don’t know proper English word of this).
3-hard tissue loss from hands and feet. I can not hold hard objects in my hand(now I am better). Hard to handle hard tools like hammer. Can not hold steering. No Fin users has reported it. Likewise on my feet shoes look very hard. Since my skin is very thin now. Could not walk longer than few meters (thnks now I am better)

4- Bleeding in my rectum , penis etc. No Fin users has reported this only pixmeprira (the guy who used Duta and then commited suicide reported this).This is very painful. I could no use toilet and very hard to use wipe since slight wrong move would result in bleeding.
5-Constant Brain shrinkage. It literally paralysed me for a year.
6-Constant nausea, vomitting for months (more than a year)
if you read my older post I was never complaining about my sexual issue, since sexual priority was at the bottom of my list ( I am still 99% impotent). My bleeding, brain shrinkage, thin skin was a major health issue. My only wish was to walk normally,hold things in my hands normally.
Now you know why I say SP is way worse than Fin?

How do you know you have brain shrinkage? Are you feeling this or mri?

Actually I have shrinkage all over my body. My fingers, my toes (especially tips of fingers and toes), genital, testicles,penis and face all looked so shrinked. Shrinkage in finger tops were very prominent though. In five years now they look better. About brain shrinkage , yes it is my feeling. Actually a guy (a herbalist explained his experience in a book after taking SP some 100 years back) who took SP wrote that he feels his brain was shrinking.It is so close to my own feeling. I have/had the feeling like someone was squeezing my brain with his hands.In early days it was very severe. I remember I was typing few words on computer and then going back on bed, then coming bac and typing few more words, this way I was making a post.
