On Finasteride (for 7yrs): 30 nmol/L
Now (after quitting 5w ago): 14 nmol/L
So my T levels have halved since quitting, and I notice severe sexual sides. What do I do? Wait for things to correct themselves?
Finasteride increases testosterone levels while you are taking it. Supposedly around 15 to 20 percent. So according to the manufacturer after stopping the hormone levels should drop by that amount and return to baseline. In your case it dropped by a lot more. This is just more evidence that shows this drug isn’t doing what it’s supposed to with our hormones. I think this is one of the best pieces of evidence to present to doctors and the FDA since it shows your levels while on and off the drug. I think you should submit these results to the FDA.
