Will try the cbd isolate. I tried normal cbd oil before, but it made me much worse and I think it is a 5ar inhibitor. I hope that it isnt the case for the isolate.

I’ve had bad periods and better periods. Don’t get morning woods, but libido has been pretty decent the last few days. I think you can improve over time in certain areas. My ejaculate shoots out much of the time, and ejaculatory anhedonia has improved. This was not the case a few years back. Girls are starting to look more like girls instead of cardboard cutouts. Like I said though, this is an up and down process.

After 3+ years of dealing with sides, the one thing that without a doubt has helped me the most is long walks; not in terms of libido, but in terms of feeling more connected, and thinking about things differently. I find walks more effective and transcending in the morning and evening rather than the middle of the day.

I believe that for our bodies to have a chance at some level of healing, we need to calm down the sympathetic overdrive / cortisol, and long walks help with this.

Do you still do 3 x strong lift and the other mornings and evenings boxing? What exactly do you mean with boxing? Punching bag?

I can’t do strong lifts because my gym is closed due to COVID, but I do workouts with bands and dumbbells, as well as sprints. I’m sticking with exercising every other day for now. Sometimes I feel drained after a workout but feel better the next day.

Boxing was just hitting a heavy bag and I took classes for a while but haven’t sparred yet. I might try sparring at some point though.

Oct 2020 UPDATE:

Just wanted to give a quick update because I have some positive news to report.

For the last month or so, I’ve stuck to my plan:

-Gym (strong lifts) 3x per week in morning
-Up and out before 6AM every day
-Vitamin D daily
-Costco multivitamin daily
-Magnesium Glycinate and melatonin before bed
-Aminos every day (BlueBonnett)
-Playing guitar regularly
-Walking in nature

While I am not cured, I’d say the state I’m in currently is “livable” and good enough for now, if I can maintain it.

Things I’ve noticed improvement in over the last month:

-Libido (watching P and rubbing one off is less forced)
-Ejaculatory anhedonia / penis sensitivity
-Mood (less depressed and less hopeless, especially in morning)
-ED (still hit or miss though)

Where I’m still struggling a bit:

-Consistent libido
-Motivation and lust for life
-Morning wood (non existent)

Things are not perfect but I think I have improved to a degree. I would say the last month is my highest baseline in the last 2+ years, but there’s still more work to do…

NOV 2020 UPDATE: (good and great news to report)

The good news…So I bought the Bedjet the other day. Best purchase I’ve ever made. Just had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time, this thing is going to be a game changer for my insomnia, as I’m hyper sensitive to temperature changes. Basically, it’s a fan+ attachment that blows air under the sheets of the bed. It can blow cool or warm air. I felt like I was sleeping at the perfect temperature even with the weighted blanket and comforter.

Current sleep routine:

-Bedjet on cool setting at 50% fan
-Weighted blanket
-Melatonin and magnesium glycinate 1 hr before bed
-no caffeine 12 hrs prior to bedtime (this is key, didn’t realize how much it was screwing with my sleep)
-No phone at least 1 and preferably 2 hrs before bed

The GREAT NEWS: I decided to dive in and really try to fix my gut. For the past two weeks I’ve been eating only foods from Dr. Datis Kharrazian’s Autoimmune and Gut Repair diet [I add Sweet potato (can help with immune issues and epigenetics) and Brazil nuts though, which are not allowed on the diet]. After reading his book, I really think we’re underestimating the importance of the gut in disease symptoms. For the past 5 days I’ve had almost no depression, higher libido, better erections, and even some nocturnals. I believe that with this diet, Cialis, shockwave (eventually), exercise, and positivity, I may be able to live again. Will keep everyone updated.

Great stuff!! Please continue with the updates. Bedjet with Weighted blanket is a fantastic idea! I too struggle to sleep in the heat, thank you so much for the suggestion. Does the Bedjet make much noise? Cheers

hi sawproblemo, anything u been doing along with diet and sleep routine?

I agree with you that there is likely an auto-immune aspect to this. I also suffer from eczema which is a sign of faulty gut health. My psychologist says that gut health may also be to blame for my depression, which I suffer from independently from PFS and have done since school.

I think I’m going to give this diet a try in the new year and see if it helps my symptoms, and hopefully also cures my eczema.

I believe what’s helped me recently had been the diet, but it’s so hard to say with this condition. I’m trying to keep more calm about the situation and less OCD as well. Poor mental health and a negative attitude can exacerbate chronic disease symptoms for many different diseases.

Also, don’t overlook sleep. Sleep and diet are two of the most important pillars of health. My sleep is not perfect but has been trending in a positive direction.

Originally, I though the gym had been helping me and I’ve been doing strong lifts for a few years now, but I actually think I overdid it as I haven’t been working out at all recently and have been getting more nocturnals, sometimes even strong ones. Maybe I’ll turn down the intensity at the gym when I go back to it.

The Bedjet on the low setting is pretty quiet but high it can get somewhere loud

Btw, where can I find Dr. Kharrazian’s book?

I ordered it on Amazon. The book is called:
