Sounds like they don’t care at all!

All these drug “regulatory” bodies around the world are just fronts for the pharmaceutical industry.

I commented on this elsewhere but I will comment again here.

This is quite a remarkable letter. The agency entrusted with the task of collecting evidence against dangerous drugs is essentially defending the drug and is telling you your symptoms are not necessarily from the drug.

Most egregiously, their statement that the finasteride and the placebo groups had similar safety profiles is patently false. We knew that even before the Reuters article but it has become even more clear in light of the facts elucidated in the article.

Finally, the clinical trials were not properly designed to evaluate safety, as per professor Belknap’s paper. (For a summary of the paper, check out this article. https://news.feinberg.northwestern.edu/2015/04/belknap-baldness-safety/)

It is in fact the responsibility of the agency to evaluate the quality of the evidence and to protect the public against fraudulent, biased and misleading trials and misinterpretation of the evidence, something they have clearly failed to do.

Can you publish your original letter to them as well?
