Sorry for my poor English, I began to take medication in the summer of 2020 due to hair loss, and I stopped taking medication in the summer of June 2022. At the beginning, I did not know that the side effects of the medication would affect muscles, and I always thought that this medication only had an effect on sexual function, so I repeatedly restarted the medication four times in two years, because I did not find any abnormality in my sexual function. The second month after the last use of the drug, I noticed thinning limbs, muscle atrophy, muscle pain, muscle beat, I immediately stopped the drug. Stupid, I didn’t know it was ALS. I thought it was ALS. When I went to the hospital and got my electromyography checked out, I realized it was the drug,I didn’t think it was the drug. I also didn’t know if I had Pfs at that time. At present, 8 months after I stopped taking the drug for the last time, the symptoms got worse and worse, the muscle atrophy did not stop, the testicles atrophied, the gums receded, the palms became flat, and the muscles all over the body ached. I’m afraid of paralysis. I feel like my life is hopeless. I’m only 25 years old

I want to know if the atrophy will continue to atrophy until death, or if it will atrophy enough to stabilize, and if it will lead to paralysis,I’m scared.

Hey Lck,

I’m sorry to hear you are in this situation. There are a few guys here in the same boat. One thing we know for sure is that the muscle wastage won’t kill us, as it doesn’t effect our vitals (heart, brain). It will stop at a baseline once the muscles are sufficiently reduced.

Have you noticed any changes to your skin?

Yes, I have noticed that the skin has become thinner and the blood vessels in the palms and limbs have become clearer and clearer, and they can be pulled up like paper. My muscles are getting thinner and thinner. I’m afraid of paralysis. I’ve been off the medication for eight months, but the atrophy hasn’t stopped,A year ago I could drive with my hands on the steering wheel for hours without getting tired. Now my arms ache in 10 minutes
