Recovery time

This is probably mainly a question for Mew, but I’m wondering about stories anyone may have heard across the internet about recovery time.

Here are two that come to my mind:

  1. There was a guy at the payronie’s forum ‘wasa’ who did in fact confirm a return of his T levels by blood test - for him it took 3 years.
  2. There is also another story (on this site somewhere) of a guy who had no libido post finasteride, saying that he “felt like a little kid”, never sexual aroused at all, and for this guy it also took 3 years for everything to return to normal.

Mew (or anyone for that matter), are you aware of any other such examples of recovery and the timeline involved?

After talking with many endo’s, and doing much research, including on this site, I have found that it can take anywhere from 1,1.5 to three years for a man’s body to return to normal after such a trauma to one’s HPTA, hormones, and sexual reproductive system.
This requires good health, activity, and nutrition.

Thanks, galapagos, for the post. It gives me more hope to hear that I will most likely return to normal.

Sorry Galapagos, I’m not aware of any additional “spontaneous” recoveries beyond what’s listed here.

Although, for some guys their T levels seem to go up wth time… so consistent, timely bloodwork is thus imperative to see what is going on.
