Recovered from PFS- Going back to hell to do an experiment

You are also a long term sufferer right?

Have you improved after all these years?
How is your life now, and which symptoms remain on you?

Thanks a lot for providing some much needed hope… Did you have shrinkage, muscle wastage and things like this too?

@Quest, please see your PM inbox for details regarding the member story requirement. Everybody has to make one.

Hey man! So you completely recovered and attribute it mainly to NAC or to the mild use of anti androgens? That’s also something I noticed- I tried low dose saw palmetto once or twice, and it actually did help with size issues and a few other things. Which was it that helped you most?

And can you talk a bit more about what anti androgen you used and what dosage of that and the NAC?

How much Nac were you taking initially and how much when you say you went up to high doses of NAC? Do you think this was a huge component of your recovery?

NAC is a weird one, I was actually on it when I first crashed and when I got off of it thinking it might have been making me worse I was crushed by the rebound and I’ve stayed away from it since.Seems like it can be pretty volatile depending on the person. Tinnitus like Quest is one of my nagging remaining problems in the bad ear that got screwed and vulnerable to inflammation during this and that one really flared when I recently had covid (was so painful it felt like someone was jamming a pencil eraser into it 24/7, thankfully eased up since then). The weird thing is my hearing itself is fine but that ear is just prone to get messed up pressure problems now and tinnitus flares. I’m also now more prone to suddenly immune reactions effecting my erectile ability temporarily for some reason, that could be residual nerve damage but since things have improved I can probably expect that to get better as further neurogenisis does it’s thing.

I’ve had rosemary in food before since all this went down and it didn’t do anything to me, of course I never took any concentrated doses of it in any form or made tea with it but just normally consuming a small amount like some rice seasoned with it is fine. There’s a few other herbs I haven’t tried in any food yet like basil or parsley but I don’t think those would do much to me either.
