Propecia being advertised at 6.55pm on a Wednesday night during the news on possibly the nations most watched channel. No mention of any sides…not even life changing ones
I saw it being advertised a bit later on, maybe 8pm, on a payed t.v channel. My mum has also told me about seeing an ad aswell. So its being activley advertised in New Zealand.

Very sad. The sexual side effects are only a few of the horrible things that happened to us. Lovely how they act like this is a sexual performance issue.

Clearly some users in these threads have a pro-Finasteride agenda and refuse to believe the drug can cause problems for a subset of men.
Amazing to see at least a few voices of reason on the hair loss forums. Usually its about 1000 Merck shrills per 1 person with some common sense. Hopefully some of the recent press is having an impact.
I have just finished listening to the above new radio interview posted by UK20 and it just makes me even more angry. Take a listen to it yourself (below).
They SLAM Dr. Irwig’s paper, the Journal of Sexual Medicine, websites like ours and the many doctors investigating the problem, and the “myth” that Finasteride can cause persistent side effects. The Bald Truth is a nationally syndicated radio program with much influence on listeners via XM Satellite radio. As in the first radio segment of this thread, the radio host and interviewee continue to blame persistent side effects on “psychological” and “placebo” causes, and men suffering from these issues as a “fear mongering cottage industry”.

This is Merck’s line. Trust the clinical data they put out, have the doctors trust their inadequate labeling and product inserts. Fight dissenting opinions to the death. More likely than not it’s Merck’s own coffers funding this like an infomercial.
Honestly I can’t even read or listen to those evil bastards. Makes me wanna give up hope. Undoubtedly somehow funded directly or indirectly by Merck. For certain some of these self absorbed idiots proclaiming Propecia’s safety will be the same boat we find ourselves.
We’ll see them in court. 
For those who are interested - Dr. Wassenbauer, the surgeon who was interviewed by the radio show posted on the forum and admitted to having recently developed a new relationship with a Merck rep regarding Propecia. It seems like they must have paid attention to her interview and sent over an agent within days.
Dr. Crisler was aggressively posting in the thread supporting our cause, but come on quite strong and was banned by one of their administrators.

Very nice. Dr. Irwig is a great guy. I thought he handled the interview very well.
I think this amounts to all the attention these assholes deserve for their menial radio show.
They claim 30 thousand people took Finasteride without side effects. I dont know were to begin with that statement. Doctors who are knowingly putting out false information about Finasteride should be charged with manslaughter they putting the lives of thousands of men at risk with their lies.
