Quit Finasteride - sides??

Hi guys. Iv been on Fin for 3 months only, took it every other day.

Basically, my hairloss wasnt noticeable 3-4 months ago, and now im practically balding severally. My guess would be i lost around 15% of my hair in 2.5-3 months. I stopped taking Fin, is it likely i get that hair back?

other things i noticed and i want explanation on:

• I am very mascular, especially in the chest and shoulders. people have told me i become thinner. i think my face look thinner too. nothing major but still, what the hell. why is this happening? is it reversible? i only took it every other day for 2.5 months
• no change in libido. infact theres a good chance it increased. why?
  -i think my face look a bit older. again, reversible in my case most likely?
• I feel tired all the time, im SWEATING alot.
• I had a weird sensation near my mouth for couple of days (where people get fine smile lines) why?How? that is weeeeird
• is Hyper-R real? could i have it?

Lastly, quit cold turkey or taper off?

How long ago did you quit the drug (months, days)?

This is not a hairloss site and nobody cares about hair here anymore after the problems Finasteride left us with. That said, if you experienced excessive loss while on the drug, it sounds like the opposite reaction of what one would expect (to maintain hair). I would therefore expect things to go back to normal in time.

If you are experiencing a post-drug loss of Testosterone metabolism (low T, LH) as many here found after stopping, this could potentially be a cause.

Maybe because DHT is coming back after stopping?

You mean reflex hyper androgenicity? Others have reported increased sweating etc after stopping as well.

I am obivously not asking anything about my hair. And i decided to stop today.

I think my T levels have increased. Why am i losing weight? i should add that im not getting thin but like… more fit instead of more mascular. does it make any sense?
Same thing regarding libido. no real change, even increased libido up till now.

This is possibly a sign your estradiol is high. You took the drug every day for just a few months, I doubt it matters if you taper off. Either way, quit the drug and get a full hormone test done.

Most 5 AR cause little T to convert to DHT hence increase in total T and Estradio. if this situation persists for long, will cause low production of T. Just wait untill your body normalize.
