Quick question, no long story...

Hi, long time reader, new member, first post. I figure I’ll spare everyone the story and details that are, at this point, all too familiar. Instead, can anyone please help answer the following questions?

  • I am looking for a Docotor, Uro\endo or other that can help in the Chicagoland area, anyone have a referral?

  • Bare with me through this question, as silly as it might sound… this month I have been off of Propecia for 1 year and am wondering, has anyone, after such a long time off ever resumed taking propecia? If so, did that help or make things worse?

Thanks in advance

Check DOCTORS section at bottom of site.

Nobody here is interested in ever touching that drug again.

Sorry if I’m missing the obvious but I don’t see a section labeled “Doctors”. Can you put the link here?

thanks

You need to log in to the site to see it.

Thanks for the link.

Here is some background on why i asked if anyone had ever experimented with getting back on propecia after a long time off. The trends I’ve seen through this site, typically have to do with people noticing symptoms pretty early on after starting P. On the ohter hand, I had been on it so long that I can’t even remember exactly but I was about 20 and didn’t start having issues till 2007 (I just turned 28). Around that time the hairloss clinic I got the presecription through moved and I believe changed the P supplier. I wonder if I started getting bad batches or something of the sort. I know that sounds nuts but hey, nothing is makes sense with this sitiuation.

To be clear, I don’t want to get back on! F this stuff, I just need help finding a Dr in Chicagoland that can help. So far 3 Uro’s and nothing other than Cialis which I refuse to take.
Didn’t find anything in the Doctors forum either…

You might have to do some travelling. Dr Crisler in Michigan or Shippen in Pennsylvania are good options.
