when my doctor checked my prostate, i barely even felt it. i have heard that it either hurts most people or it feels very good, but to me i didnt even feel it really.
is this normal?

My prostate always felt great, but now it is totally numb and feels dead.
I took propecia for 8 years and when I had my psa had it in 0.64. a normal size despite having so many years in propecia.
I found the whole thing to be hugely uncomfortable, but there was none of the “pain” that’s normally associated with prostatitis. I had actually asked about this in a seperate thread; Have you guys ever heard of or seen a case of prostatitis diagnosed with no tender prostate upon doing the digital rectal exam?
My symptoms match up so closely with prostatitis that I was shocked when my doc said “everything’s fine!”.
thats how it was with me. i wasnt sure he checked it properly.
he was in and out like a magician.
same with me i felt nothing. the whole area is numb. i guess nerve damage. this is why orgasams are crap to. when i do i feel it in the tip of my penis only. on occasions i felt nothing its as pleasurable as touching an arm. its so weird
My orgasms are OK, that is one thing that has not deteriorated a whole lot. My PSA was higher than I expected it though…
It was pretty painful.
