“… In conclusion, therapy with quercetin gave sigificant symptomatic relief with minimal side effects compared with placebo in men with nonbacterial CPPS. The ideal formulation, dosage regimen, and long-term durability of the response is yet to be determined.”

QUERCETIN is a COX 1 & 2 inhibitor. It lowers the levels of inflammatory prostaglandin e2 in the prostate…

Thinking of adding this to my very basic list. Safe enough, right? I can handle a no change trial… Just don’t want to go backwards.

Ya, just don’t take any allergy medicine with it. Could lower histamine too much.

Can’t see the PDF :frowning:. What was category III?

Strong Bioflavonoid. If you have blocked 5-ar II action it will increase estrogens and enlarge prostatic areas which are not needed. Used it 3 months and it upped prostate right+left lobe size. Very bad for my case

i tried in the past.
not fantastic but helped with otehr integrators stuff

This makes sense. Have you considered taking DIM for that? I have been taking this for a month now: bioresponse.com/BioResponse-DIM.asp not sure if it helps

I have tried quercetin. It gives me a pretty bad aching pain on the left side of my prostate. I tried it for a week and gave up, because the pain wasn’t worth it. When I stopped, that pain went away, although I still have an on again, off again dull ache on the left side of the prostate and occasionally “behind” my left testicle. I’ve had this before quercetin too.

Not fun!
