Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ)

I have been taking this for a few weeks now. I didn’t see any other references to it on the site. I am not sure if it made a difference for sure but I have been doing much better cognitively. Its a cheap supplement. Worth a look see.

Read some interesting stuff about PQQ. Going to try out Bulletproof’s Unfair Advantage to see if helps with cognition and inflammation.

Any update? Finding reports of improved sleep on this.

Maybe caution is needed before supplementing with this:

There’s a thread involving it on the PSSD forum as part of a series of other things

From my link above, this comment is troubling though:

“The problem is, in theory PQQ increases also the number of dysfunctional (mutated) mtDNA loops, so cycles of mitochondrial hyperfission and mitophagy (-> elevate NAD+ levels with high doses of Niacinamide+Ribose) are necessary before taking PQQ, otherwise you may end up with a large pool of dysfunctional mtDNA mass. You won’t notice it for a long time, because mtDNA loops cover for each other.”

Yeah, must be better ways

Many PQQ supplements have L-Cartinine in them, does yours?
