Psilocybe Cubensis Take a Trip

I have been avoiding this site like the plague, but thought I would drop in for a moment to share something I have found to greatly help my situation. I use recreational drugs on occasion (like weed, downers, but no hard shit), but avoid alcohol completely as I am aware its effects on testosterone. Recently I ate 3 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, and it really helped my psyche quite a bit. I feel that anyone struggling to cope with this horrible affliction should unquestionably take a high dose of cubensis mushrooms. Take them when you have some time set aside and know you will not be bothered. It is also important to be relaxed and be in a good frame of mind(relatively speaking). Music is also a must. I listened to the album “Too High to Die” by the Meat Puppets. It’s on youtube. For the record, it should be noted that I have had little to no mental post-fin side effects, just major sexual ones. I do feel like the shrooms have helped my libido. I feel like a new person over all. I’m not ready to shout recovery or anything, but I think I could possibly live with this. I will be taking another high dose of shrooms sometime in the next few months, and probably once or twice a year thereafter. I have taken lower doses of shrooms before but never tripped any where near that hard. There must be a threshold dose somewhere around 3 grams, depending on potency. FYI, if you don’t have a street source, the spores are legal because they don’t contain any of the psychoactive chemical, so they are fairly easy to acquire. Happy tripping.

I was actually curious about their effect since hallucinogenic mushrooms contain one of the few known gaba-a agonists. So maybe that’s how it helped you.

I guess it depends on what mushroom you took.

If you’re adventurous, try to find a prescription gaba-a agonist and see if you see the same improvement from it.

here goes nothin - awesome to hear man. I used to have a thread here about the amazing benefits of shrooms but I had all my old posts deleted. I have a theory that neurogenesis is what can cure us and shrooms are very good for that. I unfortunately have not come by shrooms that I can trust yet and I’m also a bit worried about possible schizophrenia developing as I experienced similarities to it while doing cannabis oil. Check out my profile story for my experience with cannabis oil and the benefits of hallucinogenics.

A warning to anyone who tries shrooms. If you are going to try them, research the hell out of them before hand. In my early days of PFS I tried shrooms and while it started great, it quickly turned very very bad. Little did I know I was breaking about every single “rule” there is to taking shrooms.

Update: I recently ate 6 grams, and I would not recommend it. You should definitely stick to around 3 grams.

My friends have been trying to get me to do shrooms for years but I’ve always avoided it. I figured it couldn’t do my pfs any good.
Maybe I’ll give it a try now.

Anyone tried microdosing it for depression?

LSD appears to have some positive effects as well.

But hear is an interesting study presentation done at Johns Hopkins particularly in regards to mushrooms.

Here is another mushroom that has the same neuro-regenerative effects but without the psychedelic experience. Has been found to be effective for depression, anxiety and sleep in this study after 4 weeks use. I just bought some at a local Asian grocery store.
