I have now had prostatitis for going on 5 years. I had urinary blockage issues, bph and at the end bladder stones for many years. I also had urinary retension which caused these problems. My flow rate was only 3.2 cc/ sec. I also had a sexual encounter at the beginning of my problems with unprotected sex.
Could this causes the prostatitis. My Dr. said no and I was soo uncomfortable that he did a TURP. This was also done at the outset of my condition. All I want to know is the truth. Was this prostatitis brought on by the unprotected sex or was it the result of the BPH. I tested negative 5 years ago for any std’s The bladder stones were causing me much pain. I really don’t know what to do about this problem and I’d really appreciate some help.

I did find something that helps a little bit. It’s called Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill. It’s a herbal medicine, reduces symptoms a little bit
Did you take finasteride? I have some pelvic pain, as have many others. Not sure whether it’s prostatitis, chronic pelvic pain syndrome or what. I think finasteride upset my hormones and triggered some chain reaction. Also seems to be related to my digestion, because when I produce loose stools, my pain is worse.
i didn’t try finasteride, but feel much better now with the herbal medicine, i will take it for a white first
