prostate test

I was thinking of getting my prostate checked. What test is a must for my doctor to perform?

Make an appointment with a Urologist. Ask them to check your prostate. Further testing can be done via DRE (Digital Rectal Exam) / Prostate Ultrasound, or ultimately, biopsy (if checking tissues for prostate cancer).

Most experienced doctors with the prostate say DO NOT get a biopsy of your prostate, unless you absolutely, ABSOLUTELY need it.
Its bad for your prostate, and can fuck things up further!
Also, when you go to get the DRE specifically ask the doctor to give you a prostate massage. My urologist told me she normally does not (because most people just get uncomfortable in general when a doctor puts their finger in your butt) but when asked she will do it, just to get a better idea of how the prostate is, and how it feels, and its condition.
And because also it can help rid the prostate of blockages!
My urologist in Boston told me this. I was very surprised actually! She told me some encouraging things about the condition of my prostate also!

ya my urologist refused to check my prostate and he is the number one in his field in my state so im told. Has anyone had any problems geting there prostate checked. Should i maybe ask a genearl practictioner.

Yes a GP could check your Prostate but really, you should see a Urologist. If your Uro won’t check your prostate, try and see another one who will.

He sounds like an arogant dick who isn’t taking your situation too seriously. Sorry to say this.

so boston i here you our recovered how much credit would you give to diet and exercise

You mentioned a well known Uro wouldn’t check ur prostate. What were the reasons you gave him to check them. Do you have urinary symptoms associated with BPH? Do you have PSA blood levels that suggest a poor condition of your prostate?

What exactly was the reasoning of your prostate exam?

Sometimes they just want you to come back for more visits, and get your money!
And really, once they check your prostate (I’ve learned a lot about this) TYhere’s not much they can do.

If they find its “inflamed” or “boggy” after a DRE, they may suggest taking antibiotics, and its usually Cipro, for prostatitis, and then suggest a prostate friendly diet, but thats all they can do.

Its man’s biggest mystery! Prostate problems, and how to cure them!

the reason i gave is the lack of semen i have now and the presure of my stream of urine as well as the pressure of my ejaculation.

What is a prostate friendly date?

Haha! A woman whole loves prostates, and massages it for you!!! Lol
