“When deprived of androgen [DHT], the adult prostate undergoes rapid
atrophy concomitant with extensive apoptotic death,
predominantly in the luminal epithelial cells (English et al.,
1985, 1987; Kyprianou and Isaacs, 1988; Rouleau et al., 1990;
Hayward et al., 1996b). Despite this massive loss of cells [up to 60% when having taken the drug for 3 years], the
regressed prostate long retains the ability to regenerate
completely following restimulation with androgens (Isaacs,
1987). This indicates that the regressed prostate must have a
reservoir of epithelial stem cells that are activated to proliferate
and differentiate upon androgen stimulation.”

Good news. Hope this hasn’t been posted before, though, it’s very old information.
Nice find.
Good news.
But the problem is: how can this be done?
By letting your body produce DHT in the prostate. This is done by reducing testosterone with catalysis from 5-alpha reductase 2. You shouldn’t inhibit that enzyme.
reducing testosterone or increasing it? surly u should increase it?
I think the normal concentration values are good enough for most of us. By taking more steroids you are risking more side effects, so I would leave finasteride my one and only testing in life.
