Hey, I’m wondering if anyone here has presented with prostate cancer within three years of discontinuing finastride?
I’m really particularly inteested in anyone under 30 and even closer to 20.
I have lower back pain every once in awhile and I pee a lot. I’m had a small bladder for awhile, but possibly got worse since fin? I have a lot of text book symptoms of prostate cancer except for blood or pain while peeing.
I think there’s some other ways I can rationalize symptoms. I’m planning on seeing a urologist soon, but I’ve moved since the last time I saw one. My last urologist was someone with knowledge of PFS at a research institution health system.
So going through that will be fun when I’m asked to explain why I want a prostate exam.
For some reason I’m not panicking. I’m prudently concerned, but not sure it would ultimately change too much of my life? Anyways no way to know until I see someone. Just curious if anyone else has dealt with this?
