i’m in my early 20s. my skin doctor just prescribed proscar to me to cure my hidradenitis suppuritiva. it is some form of acne. and after reading about the side effects i’m worried. any suggestions.

I’d look at alternative options instead of taking a systemic, hormone-altering 5AR inhibitor. You are risking a lot more than just getting rid of acne with this drug.
