Propeciahelp back up and running!!

The Propeciahelp website was down for a day. It appears that ‘the haters’, possibly those associated with Merck, sabotaged this website in an effort to stop us spreading the word that finasteride is dangerous for one’s health.

Mew managed to get this website up and running again, seemingly without a loss of data. Fantastic. And thanks so much.

To all those involved in the unethical, corrupt business that is Merck; FUCK YOU.

I am now going to devote to hours of my time to spreading the word that PROPECIA SHOULD BE TAKEN OFF THE MARKET. Youtube, thyroid forums, here I come.

I’m waiting for an official explanation from the webhost. I don’t know why the site was down at the moment. Some files got corrupted, but not sure how. Could have been a server issue or hardware issue for all we know. Once I have a reply I will let you know.

Here is the official explanation from the webhost. FYI, the site was not hacked and this had nothing to do with Merck.

Response from web host:

"The problem were related to PHP settings on the server. PHP module APC was enabled on the server for a customer that caused conflicts with a few PHP settings on the server. We have removed that settings of your domain and enabled Zend settings to fix the problem. Since this was found problematic, it was disabled later. Any inconvenience regretted.

Normally we don’t install any custom 3rd party modules or applications in shared servers. But the requested module was a simple PHP caching module which should not have caused any issue. And the installation affected the PHP settings for a short while too. This was reverted immediately to avoid any issues. So in future no such custom installations will be entertained as a pre-caution."

So there you have it.

While it might make for sensationalism, Merck was not behind the site downtime… so no need to go off the deep end claiming as such.
