I rub Progestacare in my scalp to combat DHT burn, 2x a week. Works wonderfully for that. I honestly cannot say I notice a boost in sexual function or any other positive effects from it. Maybe I am and just don’t know it. What I do know is that if I use it too often (as in everyday) it dampens down my libido. So it’s possible to use too much of it. Plus I’m using the full-strength version (20mg per full pump), so maybe that makes a difference too.
You know, I take that back, I tried it again for a week and one thing I did notice is that I feel more tired, I tried very little so I dont think I applied too much. I stopped it again now, will see how long it take for my tiredness to rid itself.
Ive heard on a TV health show that zinc is a precursor for progesterone. Anyone else heard that? Maybe zinc is worth a shot.
zinc is said in many studies to be important for good male sexual function, not sure if this has anything to do with progesterone or not.
Some guys have reported good results, especially sky.
i take between 15 to 30mg a day - no dramatic results, but has had no ill effects either.
i decided to try it and i ordered some last week, still waiting for it to arrive though. I’ll let you know if i notice anything. Really though i can’t say i’ll have an unbiased opinion cause lately i’ve been having great days and really bad days after eachother and i’m on no “treatment” whatsoever apart from healthy foods. will let you guys know though. i also ordered some of those amino acids the last post on the yahoo group said would be benefitial.
