Problem with erections when laying down

Hi Guys,

Well, I’m happy to say I’ve cleared almost all my problems now - however one still remains.

Whenever I’m laying flat on my back, it’s almost impossible for me to keep an erection. Any other position is fine - on top, sitting up, on my knees or standing up. It’s always fully hard.

But go on my back, and I’ll lose it … is there a physical reason for this, or is it more likely to be psychological?

I’ve always worried about on top a bit as I can’t “feel” what is happening, but could have sex and masturbate fine (on my back) - but can’t now …

EDIT: Forgot to add, I’m fine if laying on my side, as in the “spoons” position.

It a difficult position for me too, even before finast! When having sex my erection losed strength and if I am wearing a condom much worse!. Most of my friends say they can’t ejaculate in that position with a woman.

With heavy masturbation and watching porn I am able to ejaculate.

It is discussed here that bad habbits mastubating can cause ED, they recommend specially laying on the back to get recovered, and avoid laying on the stomach.

I am just the opposite. I think it has to do with muscle structure and how you can flex the kegels/buttocks to trap blood when you have an erection.

I have had some success doing kegel strengthening exercises, deep squats, and when erect “going through the motions” of positions I have difficulty keeping erections in or transitioning from positions I can keep erections to ones I cannot.

Keep pushing the boundaries just as you would exercise and maybe it gets a bit better, it has for me.

I’m going to start with the PC muscle exercises next week I think, see if that helps.

If you are laying down, and you get a full erection, your penis would be raised a bit from your tummy right? In this position (ie not pushing it forward) - is it unbendable?

I have found that I only become fully unbendable if I am around the 65 degrees (or above) position. Of course, I can’t remember if I was like this originally, so it’s another worry I have.

Also - do you need to flex your PC muscle to get FULLY rock hard - or can that be done without flexing too?

(Ideally answers of pre-fin usage - but current would also be helpful if they can confirm anything … :slight_smile:)
