just my morning erections and alot of times my regular erections are much more narrow then they used to be, also when penis is soft sometimes when i squeeze it, it feels like hard inside
This is not recovery!!!
C’mon, I think the threadstarter know better, if it is or not. I’m happy for you! Gratz!
But yeah, the very infrequent morning and spontaneous erections I get can’t be called boners anymore.
Sorry Fan but it seems more and more guys on this forum are content with 50% recover…or 70% recovery…its not good enough…!
or “I think ive got my libido back but im not sure”
Crap!
if people are recovering why you are so skeptical. This is good. I honestly thing ,given time though different for every one, every one will recover. Body does not forget what it used to be. I myself in still very bad condition but did not give hope.
I am surprised even Mew said he did not recover but in his latest post he wrote he has recover a lot.
sps
My erectile function has improved to maybe 40-50% of what it was pre-Finasteride.
While encouraging, I am far from recovered in this and many other areas compared to who I used to be.
Until I recover 100% in all areas, I will not be posting that I am “recovered” in the Recoveries section… that section is meant for people who have completely, or ~90% recovered, their Pre-Finasteride function in all areas… otherwise, to post there is misleading to others.

Mew I just saw in your old posts that you prolactin was elevated. how did you get it under control. I tried to find in your posts but could not find how did you treat it?
Mine is
Prolcactin 16 <17.99
Do you consider it high. Any suggestion or help?
thanx
I will reply in your thread to keep this one on-topic.
hey all, youre all right im dont feel 100 percent because of the fact that my erections alot of times are not as thick as they used to be, but most of the time i am hard and have a good sex drive its just the size thats not there , the legnth is the same its just the width…thinking this might be due to high estro, going to see a doc , see how it goes
I’ve been on or lurking around this forum for more than 2 years now, and the number of people who had sides for a long period of time, say over 6 months, and had 100% recovery are very, very few.
It wasn’t long before I realized that a total 100% just isn’t going to happen, at least for me, and although I had very bad sides they weren’t the worst I’ve read about. I just don’t think people should be expecting total recovery.
However, I also came to the realization months ago that after living in hell for months on the brink of suicide many nights, I would be truly happy with less than 100%, say 75%-80%. And I’m on my way to that. I see the whole thing as a very unfortunate lesson, and that I have become stronger for it.
As I’ve struggled with all this, even the posts of recoveries of 50% were of significant comfort. 50% recovery is still a good recovery story in my book, because that person will likely continue to improve.
But how come there are people enjoying this drug with no side effects :/?
Likely because everyone’s genetics, 5AR2 alleles, androgen receptor CAG repeats, individual hormone profiles and sensitivity to lowering of DHT is different… just as the following studies note:
You really believe it? I think they’re all in denial. It’s just not possible…
It is totally possible, and, it accounts for why so many men can take it without issue. We are all genetically gifted in some areas, and not so much in others. It’s the luck of the genetic draw.
