*******POST YOUR ZINC, MAGNESIUM, COPPER, IODINE HERE********

Ideal tests:

  1. Red cell zinc (failing that, serum zinc)
  2. Red cell magnesium ( serum magnesium is pointless)
  3. Hair analysis for copper levels (failing that, serum copper levels)
  4. Serum caeruloplasmin (copper binding protein)
  5. Urine iodine spot test (or serum iodine)

JN

I made that test about a year ago 11/11/2010

  1. zinc: 21.1 umol/l 9.2-18,4 (serum level)

  2. Copper:1100 ug/l 700-1400 (serum level)

I can remember that I wanted to test for magnesium but my doctor didn’t wanted to do it . it would have been the wrong test anyway (serum) .
I know I took lots of zinc a year prior the test was made. without being off topic but the only level which was out of range was vitamin D . And vitamin B12 was on the bottom in range although I took lots of it at the time and I am still doing now. unfortunatelly I can’t give you the results of the rest you’ve asked for.
