Post Propecia Syndrome: combination of Hypopituitarism and 5arII deficiency

I think this is a good line of thought.

We all have a common denominator here:
Low pituitary hormones (LH, FSH, GH) or (LH, FSH, Testosterone) or (LH, FSH, GH and Testosterone).

and 5arII deficiency:
Low 3 adiol numbers ( at least the ones who tested it).

I think post propecia syndrome is a combination of hypopituitarism and 5arII deficiency. I think we became hypopituitary (it is a gradual disease, worses year after year) while on Propecia, and because of that we did not recover from 5arII supression caused by the drug. In my opinion, to recover from 5arII deficiency, there need to be a high value of HGH AND TESTOSTERONE, at the same time, for a prolonged time, because cells take time to renovate.

Based on this line of thought, i am going to try the following protocol, starting 09/21:

  • 20 min of bycicle three times a day. Morning, afternoon and night, everyday, trying to boost HGH.
  • Clomid to try to boost Testosterone.

Right now these are my hormone numbers:
IGF1 - 194 NG/ML (Range 117 - 329)
IGFBP3 - Already tested, don’t have results yet
FSH - 2 mui/ml (Range 0,7 - 11,1)
LH - 2 miu/ml (Range 0,8 - 7,0)
CORTISOL- 22,2 ui/dl (Range 5 - 25)
TESTOSTERONE - 479 ng/dl (Range 262 - 1593)
FREE TESTOSTERONE - 314 ng/dl (Range 82 - 624)
Androstenadiol Glucoronide: 2.44 Range 3.5 - 22.00
DHT 35.0 RANGE 3.5 - 70.0 NG/DL
ESTRADIOL 38.33 RANGE: UP TO 50 PG/ML

After 45 days i will repeat my blood tests. Let’s see how it goes.

correiovip,

what about your free testosterone, I don’t see that listed?

It seems most of us have low free T, which seems to be the critical number. My total T number wasn’t bad, 752 but I was told the free T was the body uses. The total is bound it can’t be used.

I am also going to have a second blood test done when I see my endo; I have an apt on Sept 29th. I should have a test results mid Oct.

.

Thanks solonjk. I am not going to do heavy exercise.
