post fin results and then during clomid results

I will link these to my story… viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7208

1 week after quitting fin

Total Test 585 ng/dl (280-800)
free Test 8.79 (4.7-24.4)
Bio available Test 40.5%,
e2 13.8 pg/ml (7-42)
Thyroid stim hormone 1.32 uIU/ml (0.27-4.2)
total T4 8.11 ug/dl (5-14)
free T4 1.34 ng/dl (0.9-1.7)
cortisol 9.91 ug/dl (6.2-19.4)
SHBG 52.07 nmol/L (14.5-48.5) HIGH
Prolactin 8.02 ng/ml (4-15)
PSA 0.576 ng/ml (0-4)
Albumin 4.97 g/dl (3.4-4.8) HIGH
DHT 476 pg/ml (don’t know range)

After 1 month (6 weeks post fin) of taking clomid 12.5mg every other day

Total test 899 (280-800) HIGH
E2 26.4 (7-42) up but ok
DHEAs 139 ug/dl (80-560) very low normal I’d say

All other levels were very similar to pre clomid test, so no improvement in SHBG and Albumin. DHT wasn’t tested.

Although I felt better emotionally, the lack of free test ment my libido didn’t improve that much even on clomid.

Did you notice any side effects on clomid?

asexual, what were your most extreme symptoms. Your Testosteone seemed average even after discontinuance, and then of course high after clomid. Did you have thinning skin (see veins in your legs), thinning legs, penis bending?

Hi Chapat…no negative sides from clomid. Didn’t feel tearful (but my e2 remained at a good level…so that’s probably why). I only had a positive experience with the stuff, but bare in mind I only took 12.5mg eod. This was more than enough to boost my motivation and zest for life. It was so good at this (and quick acting) that I’m tempted to take some a few days leading up to a presentation I have to give soon (to 400 people!), I’m sure my confidence will go up again.

Finatruth…my most extreme symptoms were only experienced whilst on fin. Zero libido, zero energy levels, reduced hunger, shriveled penis. Basically I could have stayed in bed 24/7. Having stopped, within 2 weeks my energy was up and apart from low lidio (had some though) I was relatively back to normal in all ways.

You don’t even have PFS… your side effects resolved. Be thankful. Running a little clomid isn’t going to do much for most of us here

Broken Pecker…yes I am thankful that my sides are not as extreme as others here, but I still have some (did you look at my story?). How can you be sure I don’t have pfs? Just interested to know.
