Possible explanation for high progesterone

Okay, so DHT and progesterone keep each other in check. So if you take finasteride, it lowers your DHT, thus you end up with high levels of progesterone. Progesterone itself can cause ED and have bad consequences. My bloodwork showed high levels of both DHT and progesterone, so because my body is sensing this high progesterone, there is even more DHT being produced in an attempt to keep it under control, and because such high levels of progesterone are being produced, the adrenals can get fatigued, but that would be a secondary consequence.

I guess there could be several ways to go about treating this.

Nolvadex has mild progesterone receptor activity, and it might be able to get things under control, but it is a prescription med and I don’t know if it has any other side effects.

This might be quite the shocker, but the anabolic steroid Winstrol (Stanozol) has progesterone blocking effects. But of course this might not be valid as I think it can suppress the HPTA like many other substances of this type.

Other than that I think there’s like 2 anti-progesterone drugs that are still in the testing phase that might come out soon for the treatment of breast cancer.

Everything feels out of whack lately, I may have said I’ve been having a bit of a success, and don’t get me wrong, I’m still slightly better, but emotionally I’ve been feeling like total shit lately, I’ve been feeling very sensitive and depressed, not to mention exhausted, I’ve been hating everything and everyone, and society in general, I feel like there’s just this negative mood hovering above me that I can’t control.

Oh yeah and feel free to correct me if I’m wrong at all, don’t take my word on what I say…
