Positive Stories Only

There’s been so much negativity lately that I thought I’d create a topic strictly for positive stories.

My contribution:

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/pfsglobal/2014/01/26/e6-kelly-oxelgrens-story

At around the 15 minute mark, Kelly claims her husband’s libido came back 2 years ago despite stopping back in 2006. This gave me some hope, because while it’s been 2 years since I stopped taking finasteride it seems recovery of libido is still entirely possible.

Any other positive stories or optimistic messages? Post 'em here.

Yes- I crashed April 2012, 2 years later I have my libido back in full force with a sustained interest in sex all the time. This has been about 4 straight months now. Still having softer am and random erections but the desire is back full force and sex/masturbation are pleasurable and I look forward to it now. This is NOT a permanent condition.

Awesome :sunglasses:

Did you find anything in particular helped? Or was it just time?

Well it’s either the progesterone crash or time. I think time, but me like others before me felt better after each mini crash. Relaxation, stop stressing, eat decently, find things that bring enjoyment, believe you will get better, 5000 grams vitamin C, 5000 iu vitamin D, multi vitamin, fish oil and a partridge in a pear tree.

In fact even last night I slept for 7.5 straight (uninterrupted) hours which is a new record since my crash

Finatruth you said in your profile that you have tinnitus how is it now? Cured?
When you wake up do you get good morning wood or soft ones? I think your improvement is from the progesterone cream like others you reported the sae thing but I’d like to ask if you feel that rectally you feel the cream’seffect better or on the skin its the same thing?

Yes I have tinnitus but only if the room is super quiet will I hear it. Also have very slight hearing seensitivity (called hypercausis). I have defenitely felt much much better since progesteone use/crash. I sweat more, no more GERD, sexual thoughts all the time etc.

I applied cream to neck

Only in your neck? Don’t you rotate the application sites? Do you know why we have tinnitus and how we can fiz it? Do you think it got lower after the crashes and improvements? I notice it when I will sleep and I hate it.

Man! I just gotta say, I f-ing love you guys. I know that sounds gay, but f*ck, if you guys weren’t here, I would be 100% certain that I was bat shit crazy.

I have F-ING tinnitus now too!!! Gadam. I was like, shit, whenever I try to go to sleep all I can hear is this gadam ringing in my ears. What the hell is this sh*t now?! Then, onto the propeciaforum, and low-and-behold, there’s Finatruth saying he has the same exact f-ing thing I do. Who’s even hear of tinnitus before? Jesus.

Well, I did a little research and it looks like they have a white noise generator online which actually REALLY helps. I think it’s designed for tinnitus:

Also, on the wiki page, it says that this can be caused by low serotonin levels, which we all probably have and withdrawal from benzodiazepines, which we all probably have too. Even though I don’t know what the f benzodiazepines are.

Benzodiazepines are downers, like Xanax or Valium. Withdrawal from them is hell but completely different to PFS. They’re different drugs with different side-effects from different causes.

fina didn’t you recover from taking asparagus or something? was that the final “it” factor that did it for you? do you still need to eat them everyday?

what else are you doing dude? something had to switch everything on? it could be the combo of what you are taking with asparagus or something? fucking awesome man.

Ah, that kind of makes sense though. I seriously feel like I’m on drugs every day, even though I’m trying to stay as healthy as a possibly can. Exercising, eating healthy, taking vitamins, lots of sleep, ect.

I took ecstasy in college, and it kinda feels like an ecstasy hangover. I can only imagine what kind of damage this is doing to my brain. Even though, I’m sure if I got an MRI it would look totally normal like everyone else has said on this site.

Speaking of ecstacy… I remember some fellow trippers recommending I take certain vitamins before I trip to protect my brain from ecstacy.

I just looked this up on the internet, and they have a list of vitamins and supplements you should take before you take MDMA. I wonder if I/we should be taking this stuff to protect our brain from brain fog. I seriously feel like every day I’m on drugs and my brain is getting more and more damaged day by day.

Here’s the site where they discuss supplements to take before you take MDMA. Do you think these supplements would help us?
