My hairloss seems to have restarted after 2 and a half years after leaving the drug. But Im feeling better and better regarding my libido lately. So seems to be correlated. Im interested if someone restarted his hairloss without improving symptoms.

thanks for the encouraging news. my hair hasnt started falling out unforunately… hoping for more to come.

I had a hair transplant in 2013 and a second one last month. I developed “first stage PFS” (whatever that is) at the start of 2012. In my second hair transplant consultation last month using specialist equipment I’d definitely lost more hair, thus the second procedure.

So yes have lost hair in the last 18 months, assuming I do have PFS - some claim I don’t because I only low libido and low sensitivity, but since PFS is not even medically defined it’s all very debatable.

I have had blood tests and hair loss is consistent with what you’d expect, given that my testosterone is relatively normal (close to 600 ng/dl) and my DHT is over double the top end. Why I don’t have libido and feel so lackluster is a mystery. Either my test is still too low or there’s something else at play…

why a hair transplant?

Why not? Having libido issues doesn’t mean I don’t care about how I look.

Do you have your blood test online?

Seriously! Life’s lost from this shit and you guys are worried about your hair still.

As notna has said before “shut up you rat.”

You think it’s your job to police the forum to tell people whether they’re suffering in relation to you? Well it’s not. You’ve only been here since April and you act like you fucking own the place.

Here you go:

TSH: 1.50 Mu/L (0.3 to 4.7)
LH: 5.2 IU/L (3.0 to 13)
FSH: 10.5 IU/L (1.3 to 9.2)
DHT: 5.20 nmol/L (0.90-2.30)
DHEA: 15.7 umol/l
Prolactin 399 mIU/L (0-450)
Testosterone 20.6 nmol/L (9-25)
Sex Hormone Binding Globulin 19 nmol/L (15-48)
Calculated Free Testosterone 589 pmol/L (215-760)
Oestradiol: 108 Pmol/l

I think I’ll update my signature so they’re all right there.

Oestradiol: What is the range for the test? Was this high?

I can see. If I were you I will look to low prolactine (naturally), to get the axis Prolactine-Dopamine in a better position.

Also are you stressed? Cortisol is a big issue in the sex mechanism.

I will tell you that in my 3 day of water fasting I recovered my sensibility + 50% in one day, afterwards have been more or less before finasteride. I dont know what happen that day I cannot understand but my galans sensibility and pleasure were heightened a lot, I will not tell you what I did afterwards :unamused:

Thanks for the advice Belikewater. Yeah, I do feel quite stressed. See my response to mcibofh - I am usually very patient but I’m fighting on so many fronts, whether it’s here with people like him, Reddit, my job, my hair transplant work. It’s all very exhausting.

What can I do to lower prolactin? And how did you figure I was stressed?

I did not out, but I saw the Cortisolo and Dopamine missing and its well studied that cortisol kills libido and also get prolactin higher, so if you lower cortisol you will get prolactine down also and libido up.

For hormone changes is always the same:

1.- Healthy long term way: Change habits and style of living that include food + some supplementes.

2.- Quick fix + unhealthy: take medications.

We have to help the body heal himself! Its the best doctor you have!

Regarding how to lower prolactine, just google it!

Chris, You are never going to get better! No doctor on the planet will do anything for you, ever! Your blood work is fine. The fact is your a wimp that wont try anything other then asparagus, trib, or cat piss. Your current state is good enough you don’t wish to risk it. So why come here looking for BS solutions that never work? Look, I will save you a bunch of money today. Goldstein’s protocol for low libido is zyban. Now go away!

What exactly have you tried? All you seem to do is criticise people for their problems being not as bad as yours but having the gall to talk about them. How selfish. I haven’t seen you do anything positive or useful for this community or yourself.

Chris, You are a disappointment. Your bloods look good and you are still here, your discouraging! You have been here for years, YES? What do you think that means Chris? That this is likely permanent? YES! YES, that’s what it means, That is why MEW and AWOR are STILL HERE! Now go back to your hair blog you muppet.

Be as patronising as you want but also let me know when you have loads of men thanking you for doing something helpful with your time.

I get it, denial keeps you going.

Whereas being a Class A cunt keeps you going?

You seem the guy of the movies that says: “WE ARE GOING TO DIE ALL!!!” hahaha

Probably your current state affects your thinking.

Listen you are in the first months after giving up the drug, from my endo point of view your hormones are in the worst possible equilibrium, time will make you come back to pre fin state… if you relax. You have some years ahead low or slow improvements. Enjoy the ride, there is light after the tunnel. Try a protocol maybe to enhance that recovery or to mask the symptoms BUT take in account that somes protocols could damage your further, select wisely.
