If you had hemorrhoids at any period of your life before starting finasteride, please let us know here. It does not matter if you had painful hemorrhoids or not. If you have ever felt a lump coming out of your anus, this is positive even if there was no pain or bleeding.

Thanks

wow…This forum gets more bizzarre with it’s theorie’s each day. How has this have anything remotley to do with Finasteride?

unltill we have a valid theory, everyone has the right to investigate. If you do not have a valuable input, please refrain from posting. Thanks

Sorry mate, i’m being a realist. Finasteride is a 5AR2 inhibitor. I don’t understand how a swolllen anus can be related.

wow now this? few days back someone was asking on what side we you sleep?
Let suppose you find 2 or 3 users out of 40 users with hemorrhoid pre-fin use, then what you will you do with it? how this is linked to fin use? what science is behind it? what is your plan of action? are you part of any research?
No survey should be posted until Mew or Awor launch it, only these guys are doing some serious studies.

It is simple as 2+2=4. We took SP or Fin (5 AR inhibitor)and got into this mess.

I would like some further explanation… just want to hear your ideas.

Hemmorrhoids can be caused by the chronic prostatitis / pelvic floor issues.

Never had them prior to crash, but have had one after that comes and goes.

Ahh well obviously we are having issues with that entire region. As the alpha blockers have proven by restoring size for many of us.

I got them recently…

I have rectum and penis bleeding easily now. before I used to have sweet pain or itching when was using toilet paper now it hurts instead and bleeds very easily. To be honest my entire skin is very thin now. I never had paper cut before but now get very easily.

Wow this is retarded

I have recently got unusual growth in the left side of my anal sphincter, not sure it is hemorrhoid. It is about 0.5 inch now. I never had it in my life. It all started with a lot itching in my rectum. I was itching all night for almost a year and then I started feeling this lump appearing. I feel it is related to our Fin/SP use because all of my siblings or parents don’t have this.

What you have is probably an analthrombosis . I had It too , Sounds more horrible than IT IS but I would Go to an Specialist (proctologist ). By the way I also have Problems with my rectum on and Off analfissure. Already Had surgery because of that now I am Treating with lidocainum cream but could be that I have to thave another surgery.

Thanks Hope88.
What is looks like skin on the sphincter wall has grown in size. No pain, no bleeding. Just looks like extra skin. Anyway I am going to book an appointment with my doctor.

This is the right thing to do.

Anyone reading this thinking about something similar, if the doctor’s office is open, call now. Don’t post here first, nobody will be able to diagnose you properly here. See a doctor.

Thanks for pointing, I did not know that, I should see a doctor. I was thinking ppl treat themselves here.

Plenty of people put off going to the doctor, sometimes to their detriment, I just thought it was worth putting it out there.

Well if I hadn’t went to the Dr testicular cancer would have been the start of the end 17 years ago. Drs should not be always avoided because we have pfs. An extreme example I know. Some think we should avoid them like the plague. Additionally the more that see their Drs the more they hear about pfs. It’s all / should be part of the strategy to get this out there, recognised!!! Retreating as many do after the 1st visit is very frustrating. Its also entirely plausable for Drs to assume it was a one off episode and that the patient recovered (as per the fin leaflel) if u continue knocking on that door that certainly won’t be the case.
