I’m reading conflicting experiences regarding whether side effects get better or worse with time. The consensus appears to be that mental sides seem to improve after a year, but tonight I read about a guy who lost collagen which changed his face, 3 years after quitting the drug.

I thought I’d run a poll to see if we can get an idea. You can select THREE options for each category (mental, physical and sexual). The terms should be self explanatory, but mental refers to brainfog, anxiety etc. Physical is changes noted in collagen, genitals etc. And sexual is libido, pleasure etc.

Please vote up to THREE options.
Also, please only vote if a considerable period has passed since you quit Propecia, i.e. 18+ months.

Just what I expected. This has been my pattern. Life is in the shitter and im not gonna stand for it. Im a dead man.

So far the poll seems to suggest mental sides have a good chance of natural recovery, physical sides are 50/50 and sexual sides are the least likely to recover. Anecdotally I think that’s quite accurate.

What about loss of libido, spontaneous errections, morning wood and loss of connection between cock and brain…who has recovered from that?

This is a good poll. For those in the earlier stages (prior to 18 months), there is a large chance you will improve with time. At least that was largely the case for me. Within the first 18 months, it seemed like erections were only partial erections. That is no longer the case. I have also recovered some amount of spontaneous erections (not like it was before, but still better. I get erections from watching porn now). Morning erections have recovered almost fully for me. Sexually, the biggest thing is numbness and less sensation during orgasms - which has improved somewhat, but hasn’t resolved. Testicular size is pretty much back to normal. Brain fog is still present, but FAR less severe than it was during my first two years. Fatigue and insomnia are slightly better, but still issues. The healthier I am and better I take care of myself - the better it is. The first two years I wanted to die. I don’t feel that way at all anymore.

Hang in there - for many it does get exponentially better.
