Podcast back on...

I also made an extra donation to the PFS Foundation this month. Though not perfect, they seem to be getting a lot done in terms of medical research and awareness.

Meanwhile, anyone who has not yet heard Sylviane Mathieu’s interview should definitely tune in:

Just tuned into yet another good interview by PFS Global Support host Nader Jawad:

And another French patient to boot.

Thanks so much to Nader for picking up the slack here and getting more guys – the world over – to share their frightening tales.

Another good interview with a PFS patient on Nader Jawad’s “PFS Global Support”:

Why did the podcast end ?
Ive just listened to it and it blew me away they describe everything that ive been through its overwhelming to hear how everything as these guys tell their stories.
It actually feels therapeutic to hear guys openly talk about what we have all gone through the confusion the lack of medical help the advice to just take viagra rather than give answers as to what is actually the real problem.
I think podcasts like these Could really help alot of people through the trauma of the initial onset of the problems.
When all these issues start its a very difficult place to find yourself and the feeling of isolation is overwhelming you just don’t want to talk about it , it’s almost like your mind just will not accept what has happened.
Podcasts like these Could save so much trauma and possibly save lives.

It’s great that this has been bumped. As @Baz44uk says, these podcasts are gold. I can’t thank the guys enough who tirelessly committed to these, from running the podcasts to sharing their stories. They should be given more prominence as our actual voices provide even more impact and support to what in many cases is a hidden disease. I suspect that they may have not continued due to the need for commitment & I think that it can possibly take a certain toll to give this much to awareness & support. But those that laid down their own personal stories - they will forever have my utmost respect & gratitude.

Why are so many forum members so ignorant to posts like this …
This podcast was amazing as you stated it’s like gold this would have helped me so many others mentally i would of had more understanding of what to expect also this would really lifted the isolation away I felt so isolated so lonely so depressed it was unreal my mind just wouldn’t allow me to accept what had happened because i had no understanding of why it had happened i was forced to just bottle it all up and live with it until the day i finally went to see a doctor this didn’t do me any favors i felt humiliated as my doctor started looking at me and headed the conversation towards depression i thought fuck me wouldn’t you feel depressed if your dick didn’t work properly of course im fuckin depressed and anxious im had to use drugs for years just to get an errection it’s not natural their obviously something really wrong.
Needless to say i left feeling even more isolated but at least i had made him aware of the side effects of this drug if nothing else.
I’m going to find out why these podcasts stopped they really are valuable especially to guys who are new to the side effects.
Someone mentioned doing a YouTube video and was suggesting we think of ideas to help with funding studies yet hardly anyone replied to the post its like alot of folk are happy being unhappy or just lost the will i don’t know.
I know it’s a long hard road but surely we can think of something productive between us .

There is a saying: “Be the change that you want to see.”

Or to put it another way, you could make a YouTube video. You could think of some fundraising ideas.

If you start the ball rolling, perhaps you’ll enthuse some others.

You said it mate
I have my thinking cap on :+1:
