Please comment on this absurd Spectator story asap...

On November 6, Susannah Hickling, a health blogger for The Spectator, published a story titled “Keep your hair on! Seven tips for doing so, past Movember.”

In is she wrote:

“Take drugs Not the illegal kind, obviously, but one of a very small number of over-the-counter treatments which have successfully led to hair regrowth in some people. Both minoxidil (Regaine) – which women can use as well as men – and finasteride (Propecia) have had good results.”

Please comment asap to let Ms. Hickling know how irresponsible she has been:

Thanks.

I see that two comments have made it onto the story. Thanks!

Now let’s get more.

Meanwhile, read the latest on Robin Williams in Salon:

Note the passage:

“The dementia usually leads to significant cognitive impairment that interferes with everyday life.”

I’d like to know what “expert” diagnosed this. Now this is widely accepted. Money will be raised for this disease which he may have had. But he was on Finasteride, experienced similar symptoms as pfs, and DID commit suicide. This needs to be called into light and not put off as some dimentia.
