CONCLUSIONS: • These results suggest that the sexual effects of dihydrotestosterone deprivation may depend on handedness - a proxy variable that may represent cognitive style - which lends further support to the idea of two distinct neuroendocrine psychosexual axes. • They further suggest that detection of such sexual effects may be enhanced by using research methodologies and communication strategies that increase patients’ sensitization to such effects.

Just one of the many bullshit studies about finasteride out there, albeit even stupider than most, and yet we have to beg, borrow and steal to get any mention let alone analysis of permanent mental, physical and sexual symptoms caused by the drug. Corrupt fuckers.

First, I believe that it’s saying if you are right handed you are susceptible to PFS, if you are left handed you are not.

At surface level it looks like a joke, but we are not neurologists, so who are we to judge. I think part of what this study is saying is that lefties and righties have different brain chemistries. Righties may be more type A personalities, and from every story Ive read here we are (were) basically all type A. That would make us more suscepitble to PFS.

Most (recent at least) presidents have been left handed and they’re certainly type A personalites.

Hmmmm. Geeez, are there any lefties out there? A quick search shows worldwide population to be about 10-15% left handed so statistically we should have some you would think
