PFS Now Has Official Wikipedia Page..

I was pleased to find that Post-Finasteride Syndrome is now an official Wikipedia entry:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-Finasteride_Syndrome

This new development came about as a result of Roberto Melcangi’s just-published research in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, titled “Neuroactive Steroid Levels are Modified in Cerebrospinal Fluid and Plasma of Post-Finasteride Patients Showing Persistent Sexual Side Effects and Anxious/Depressive Symptomatology”:

onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1 … 9/abstract

Also note that there’s a section on the Post-Finasteride Syndrome Foundation.

Wow! This is great news…maybe now doctors and family members will start believing us.

Exactly.

Everyone here should email the Wikipedia link to his doctor(s) with a nice note saying something like, “Just FYI, this new Wikipedia page on PFS may be helpful to you in better understanding the condition.”

I don’t think any rational doctor would take a Wikipedia entry seriously, especially a recent one. In fact, for those sceptical doctors, it would probably cast more doubt over your reported symptoms.

Having said that, this is a small but important victory in terms of public awareness.

Well done to those who contributed.

No…I actually disagree. The Wiki page has the relevant research linked to it at the bottom of the page…its a much better webpage for a doctor to find compared to Propeciahelp. This Wiki page is VERY good news for us in terms of getting the word out…

Ok, maybe doctors take a different view of things in the US.

The Wiki entry is a great thing - we agree. I commend those who made it happen.

The Wikipedia page has already been deleted…hmm…why would Wikipedia delete a page like that?

No doubt Merck spies have been on here and seen the link and had it removed!!!

It was very informative and I am devastated it has been deleted.

This was a huge step forward for me!!!

This has really got my back up!!!

The only conciliation I can take from thi is the fact I printed two hard copies of the information when the link was live for what it’s worth and ill
Be adding it to my website and other places across the net when and if I get out if this mental
Home!!!

The deletion can be contested. I don’t have the time to look into it now. Nothing said in that article was unpublished in medical journals. With enough persistence, we can get this going again.

Please if you have time look into the appeal process and I will appeal it

I’ve just sent and email here…

info-en@wikimedia.org

Asking where the link has vanished to

I’d urge other user to do so too please

We are dealing with people who are pure evil these people are no better than child molesters.

Whats the official word on why it was deleted??

The Melcagni paper never used the term “Post Finasteride Syndrome” to describe symptomatology

Ok, so let’s call the page “Persistent Finasteride Symptoms” or something. Jesus.

Can’t people at Merck be charged for sexual molestation or something? At this point they know what finasteride is doing. They are continuing to chemical castrate and maim people. Can they be taken to some higher court or something? Or do they have too much power for that too?

If you guys really want to get Merck, and save other people, warn everyone you know to not take Merck drugs. People are suffering side effects from many of their products. Elderly people are having their jaws rot on their face from Fosamax. Women are getting blood clots and dying from NuvaRing, and many more.

Do you know of anyone on this site that knows website development? What about making a website listing all the dangers of Merck drugs and then finding a way to start a chain link email or something.

The PFS page now re-directs to a subsection of the finasteride page called “adverse effects,” so don’t lose hope.
