As PFS Network’s efforts progress, we will be launching new projects in 2024. These projects will be primarily focused on supporting fundraising efforts, appropriate recognition of the disease and supporting ongoing scientific efforts.
These projects directly contribute to progress towards our ultimate objective: Identifying the pathomechanisms involved in PFS in order to establish possible therapeutic treatments. None of the progress of the last three years would be possible without volunteers and your contribution will be truly meaningful.
Projects will be split into two groups: Day-to-day tasks and more specialised technical projects.
Day-to-day tasks will focus on supporting our organisation’s progress through fundraising, recruitment and other patient-facing activities. You do not need any specific skills to volunteer for day-to-day tasks. We are seeking to recruit 5-10 patient volunteers for this group.
Specialised technical projects will require specific skillsets. Examples may include tasks such as improving the new patient experience, clinical networking or data science projects.
Our initial focus is on speaking to patients who wish to contribute to day-to-day tasks, however we encourage patients with specialised skillsets to reach out also. These skills include:
