Just read this in the Foundation’s Annual Address, from August 1.
Research: On July 1, we announced the funding of a major clinical study on PFS at Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. In the coming weeks, we’ll announce the funding of a second, complementary study at another major medical institution.
Anyone know anything about this?
I don’t have any insider information, but it is very exciting. Such great progress from just a year ago, when very few medical professionals were prepared to even acknowledge the problem of PFS. Now we have a major research project underway, and another due to start soon, which should help us understand the condition - the vital first step for getting treatments or a cure.
