Hello everyone,
Unfortunately, i’m having tooth decay.
You may be wondering what this has to do with PFS, and the reason is that i’ve become very sensitive not only to chemicals in general but also to things that can have an anti-androgen or anti-5-alpha-reductase effect on me but not on healthier subjects, things like nuts, oils, pollution, everyday chemicals…
I’m paralyzed by fear. While on the one hand, i certainly don’t want to lose my teeth, on the other, i don’t want to risk putting material in my mouth that could cause a serious reaction… I’m so sensitive that even wearing rubber sandals, even with socks, can make me feel sick (i’ve developed a condition that makes me hypersensitive to various chemicals and molds).
The problem, therefore, is twofold: anesthesia and any materials used to rebuild teeth after removing cavities must be compatible not only with my sensitivity to chemicals but also with the Post-Finasteride Syndrome!
In short, i’m worried that a dentist might use anesthesia or materials to rebuild my teeth that could further disrupt my health…
As i mentioned, i react to both natural and artificial elements that also have a mild anti-androgenic or anti-5-alpha-reductase effect.
Have you had cavities since you had PFS? What materials did you use to repair the teeth? And how did you resolve the situation with anesthesia?
I’d like to hear your experiences.
