Petition the fda?

I feel we should petition the FDA and inform them of the full extent of our suffering beyond the sexual sides, and the permanence of those.

I dont know if this should be in the form of a normal petition but instead a list of our names and descriptions of our side effects and locations, doesn’t matter if we are outwith the US as that is where it started and they must take responsibilty for kickstarting acceptance elsewhere.

We could include testimonies from doctors who have dealt with finasteride cases or opposed its use like Crisler, Shippen, Goldstein and Frankel.

Also include studies proving the link between finasteride and depression, the higher than stated incidence of sexual sides and the fact that the Swedish FDA has concluded these are permanent.

They would have to respond one way or the other.

not a bad idea, is there a formal petition form?

It’s not a petition form but the 1st sticky at the top of this section is for reporting side effects to the FDA:

It’s going to be a long up hill battle with something like that. I would definitely be a supporter of it, but most of us are focused on getting ourselves back to normal.

It is a scary thought though reading your thread that there must be hundreds of new guys around the world that begin taking propecia each and every day. I have a friend that has been taking propecia for 10 years, that last time I talked to my sister she said he was still taking it. I was just thinking today about how he broke two bones around his ankle area(not sure what bone) playing basketball.

I wonder if it is related to bone loss. Men who go long periods of time with low levels of T can suffer bone loss and have brittle bones. They often suffer fractures. The guy is in complete denial still.
