Permanent headache? Pain in the forehead and fatigue!

I can agree with this, I find if I sleep in on days off, I wake with hungover feeling, slight brain fog with headache. I haven’t drank alcohol since November 2012, yet somedays feel hungover. My eyes always dry out and contacts get dry. Never do I feel refreshed and clear headed like I used to feel after a good nights rest or workout.

You should get an MRI scan done to rule out any abnormalities on your pituitary gland.

This is totally my experience. You guys have explained it pretty well. I’m going through a particularly bad phase at the moment hence why I’m back here on the forum. I took propecia almost 4 years ago for less than a month yet I’m still stuck with this.

This constant sensation in my head has made me obsessed with shit like water fasting because it seems almost as if my head is chronically dehydrated. I know this isn’t literally the case, but as scaredoutmymind said, it’s as if im forever hungover. I’m also never not tired when I wake, that coupled with this feeling in my head makes me sleep on - but this seems to make it worse.

At 22 I’m struggling really bad to live a proper life, any suggestions on how to sort out this headache guys? For me, the headache is the worst thing as well as the other effects on the brain propecia has had.

I used to have this persistent headache too in forehead/top of head region.

I also noticed that it would immediately get worse no matter what I ate too. I have recently been diagnosed with TMJ dysfunction, displaced disc in my jaw resulting with a misaligned bite. I have started having splint therapy with a specialist and this has eased some of the headaches.

I would advise anyone suffers with persistent sleep problems and headaches due to PFS to have a look at TMJ.

Over one year of clenching and grinding during my terrible interrupted stressful sleep my jaw eventually gave in.

Three other things that have helped with this was a high potency probiotic, adrenal supplement and magnesium.

Nendo I also have jaw issues. I think you should get an MRI done of your pituitary gland to rule out any abnormalities.

Mark2012 I’ve had a total of three MRI’s, one back in August for Head, Pituitary and Spine, all clear. I had another one for my head (for reassurance as my headaches were getting out of control) in October, normal again. Then one recently for my TMJ with mouth in open and closed positions which showed the displaced discs on both sides. Another thing I have is a misaligned atlas in my neck which was causing me all sorts of issues which I’m seeing a Nucca chiropractor for. PFS on it’s own is a nightmare, but combined with TMJ is beginning to take it’s toll.

You have to check your blood pressure and your thyroid levels by a doctor .
