penis returns to normal size during urination and defecation

What do you guys make of this? My penis returns to my pre-fin natural size when i defecate or when i urinate, but then promptly returns to the thin and hard penis with numb feeling.

I wonder why this happens. It gives me hope, but right now I’m am completely dead below the waist, do not have any sexual thoughts, no erections, nothing. I have a ton of other sides too but not related to this. My penis has shrank as well as my testicles, also my testicles are very light, like they aren’t producing sperm at all like they are just there and not functioning properly. And they hang very low and just don’t function properly. My penis is so dead.

I posted in the introductions forum, but just to give background i took the drug for about 2 months at months, prob more like month and a half, first symptom afterwards was incontinence, didn’t correlate it with fin, then about 4 months later, seemingly overnight i lost all sexual thoughts and function. I crashed and went into this insane crazy depression where i had insomnia and couldn’t barely leave the house. Plsu a whole bunch other things.

i dont believe you, sorry. Seems weird. My penis has a normal size when flaccid, but erect its much smaller than it should be.

Don’t believe him? You’re absolutely no better than many of the doctors we have to deal with. Honestly, this forum beggars belief at times.

My penis is thinner when flaccid and retracts a lot of the time when I go to the toilet for either. This may have happened prior to stopping propecia but I was never aware of it before. I don’t know whether it is normal for your penis to retract like this when going to the toilet.

Yup so diverse. Not many seem to get penile pain yet I do and I dunno why.

Same thing happens to me. If you take Minipress it happens too.

My opinion is that we actually did not lose mass to our penis from DHT loss. But pelvic floor tension is causing this. IF you work hard enough on reverse kegels you can regain the size is well. Considering GABA-a issues Finasteride is documented to cause via decreased neurosteroids it fits the bill exactly of pelvic muscle tension.

Moonman1- very true, I just had a 3-4 month battle with pelvic pain/non bacterial chronic prostatitis. It was horrible, pelvic pain, sciatica pain, testicle pain, libido worsening etc. my advice to all of you is urinate when you get the urge. I had held it in for like 12 hours one day and the prostatits kicked in

don’t believe me? Thats just weird. And yes i have the same problem when erect its much at least an inch smaller than it was pre finasteride.

Exactly the same with my penis…this must be a muscular thing because when you go to the toilet the penis muscle have to relax. My penis also is back to normal and soft when I am laying down in bed…again pelvic floor muscles are relaxing. When walking or standing up it is like touching a rock in flaccid state. This is a pelvic floor issue related to muscles…now if I only could fix this…
