Penis insensitivity - getting worse on TRT

Hi all,

Since quitting Propecia 6 months ago, I have been dealing with mainly cognitive problems from this drug ( severe brain fog, poor memory) and fatigue, however I did notice a loss of penis sensitivity as well. My penis feels like it’s made of rubber sometimes.

Anyway, my testosterone level tested was in the 300’s recently and my GP has started me on TRT. While it has helped the fatigue, I have noticed the cognitive problems getting bad again and my penis is quickly becoming much less sensitive. I can still get hard no problem and orgasm but I feel almost nothing while masturbating.

I’m freaked out over all of this and wonder if I should continue the TRT or stop.

Why would I get worse on TRT?

hi… i have the same post syndrome as you…
took fin for 9 months and now im a year off…
i have low libido … around 30% of what i had and my penis feels numb… especially the bottom side where it suppose to be the most Pleasant… ide say around 30% of what it was too… also women dont look as attractive as before… i almost dont look at girls asses at the gym…

Hey guys,

I had a sensory test done on my penis by Dr. Goldstein and it evidently revealed I had lost sensation to some degree on the sides, top, bottom, and especially the tip of the penis. Your penis should be more sensitive than your finger tip I think.
I was diagnosed with Peyronie’s… look it up… Dr. G said he’s encountered many PFSers who’ve gotten Peyronie’s. Even in its early stages, it basically traumatizing the penis with either internal bleeding, or plaque build up (which is the scar tissue from the bleeding). Sounds super scary, but it is treatable, look at my other posts. I had mine treated and it helped with pain, but my sensitivity still hasn’t returned in its same form. I can still orgasm, but it’s irregular and hurts sometimes if I don’t warm myself up.
My testosterone levels are superb, but my DHT were at 50% of what they should be. I’ve been using DHT gel for 3 weeks now, but it’s supposed to kick in officially after 6 weeks of usage.
Let me know if you have any Q’s. Glad to help. Hang in there!
PS - when you have a girl there with you, I think your body becomes more hyper-sensitive too from all the chemicals and hormonal stuff floating in the air. It’s different when you’re just laying in bed or masturbating to porn, so don’t feel so bad. Do you lack sensitivity during sex?
