Penile Revascularization

Greetings,
First post, long time lurker.

Are we closing the book on penile revasularization as an option? In addition to various hormonal shortages, I have penile arterial blockages that have been verified through angiogram. My guess is that others here probably have the same issue. Logically, revasc would seem like a good option. However, I have read one case in the archives here where revascularization was performed and failed. But that is just one case.

Has anyone attempted this or considered it?

Thanks

There are at least two unsuccessful cases and I know of zero PFS successful ones. Were you diagnosed with low arterial flow or blockages? Who made the diagnosis?

Goldstein.

I was diagnosed with low arterial flow on the left side.

how did he test for blockages?

Just in case you haven’t looked up my history: don’t get cut up. It’s likely unnecessary. I did it and regret it. There are others who did it (w/ zero improvements) and never posted. Get multiple opinions on your angiogram (if you’re even that far along in the process). My blood flow results when reviewed in retrospect did not indicate poor blood flow to urologists, and my present blood flow is excellent as well. Unless you definitely experienced some sort of blunt force trauma which resulted in your situation, I doubt that your PFS symptoms are due to an “arterial blockage.” Despite not having had any blunt force trauma like the successful surgery patients I interviewed who recalled specific, memorable bike accidents and mishaps, I stupidly proceeded with the surgery. Don’t make the same mistake. It’s your choice, but this is my perspective not knowing you or your case history but having gone through that expensive, painful, invasive procedure. That’s all I have to say on the matter.
