Long time reader, first time poster…
Hey all, in brief I took Propecia for three months and it was the worst decision of my life. It’s been 10 months and the problems aren’t going away.
However, when I felt better any particular day I would write down what I ate that day. Slowly, patterns start to form. I certainly encourage everyone to do this, because everyone’s physiology is different and one thing might not work for everyone. Or it might. Here’s hoping.
Anyway, oddly enough I discovered that eating peanut butter sandwiches would help me a lot, almost to feeling normal again. I’m not kidding, just one sandwich a day is enough to do the trick. I especially felt it in the morning.
Peanut butter is one of the richest sources of arginine and is really inexpensive.
Please, if anyone else tries this let me know if it worked for you or not.
Note Some brands of peanut butter may contain partially hydrogenated vegetable oils, which are high in trans fatty acids. Natural peanut butter does not. At least one study showed that peanut oil can clog the arteries.
